The concept was to divide the farm into two systems which would allow for a dedicated system for soft and LPS coral and a secondary, specialised system for SPS and higher end LPS. 

The system adopted an intricate plumbing style that allowed for most of the flow through the system to enter under the racks. This reduces the number of dead patches which can become a problem as the racks divide the bottom and top of the tray. The flow is then supported above the racks through two MP40s for each tray mounted on one side by specifically designed dry weirs.

The water changing system provides a far easier solution which only requires opening and closing valves in a specific order.
